On arrival in Phnom Penh, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Choose between a tour of Tuol Sleng Museum of Genocidal Crimes and the emotionally charged Killing Fields or enjoy free time at the local markets. Later visit the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Emerald Buddha and National Museum, followed by a cruise along the Mekong River. (B,L)
Fly to Siem Reap and tour the temples of Angkor. Begin with a visit to Angkor Thom and end the day at the awe inspiring Angkor Wat. (B,L)
August to February – High water season
Take a boat trip along Tonle Sap, visiting floating fishing villages. After lunch, visit Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre. (B,L)
March to July – Low water season
Drive to Knapor Senior High School library project, then take an ox cart through the village and learn about local life. Take a simple Kmer lunch then visit Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre. (B,L)
Explore the Small Circuit of temples, including Prasat Kravan, Banteay Kdei and Chau Say Tevoda. Later this afternoon, you will transfer to Siem Reap airport where your arrangements will end. (B)
